So I bought my 90TT about 3 months or so ago and it hasnt ran right from the begining. Always idling rough and what not. Well over the last 3 months it has gotten worse for sure. Well I decided to do a boost leak test because my vacuum started to drop down to like -8psi instead of the normal 10-15 it had been registering before on my aftermarket boost guage. Needless to say the system held ZERO pressure. Amazingly the turbos were still spitting out 15psi. Well it turns out that I had 3 holes in my front mount intercooler, one of which was VERY large. After further inspection, it seems the guy tried to bypass the Carbon Canister but failed to cap off two different hoses. One of which was the hose coming from the rear balance tube on the back of the plenum. I thought the car was fast before, but then again I never drove a TT, espeically one that has the extensive mods this one has. I am REALLY looking forward to getting it all patched up and see how it performs once all my boost leaks are gone. Wish me luck!
